Low and slow recovering w.e 28/09/2014

The week before Ladybower 35 my knee played up quite a bit and I was in a fair bit of pain which eased enough to race comfortably but was probably a sign of needing a bit of a rest.

The taper before Ladybower therefore didn’t quite go to plan and I’ve spent this week jogging very slowly and gingerly to work a couple of times to see how it feels. Not too bad now but higher effort levels seemed to trigger some pain and with the Ladybower race in my legs and Red Bull Steeplechase next weekend not much for it other than taking it easy.

I’ll probably do another easy week with the Steeplechase on sunday than back into a 3 week block to get me ready for the White Rose Ultra at the start of November.
