It’s been nearly a month since my run streak ended and a couple of holidays along with injury haven’t helped.
Injury
This was the last full week before Hardmoors and wraps up a miserable month of non-training before the big race.
With only 2 weeks to Hardmoors, my knee diagnosis wasn’t terrible but getting to the start line without losing the summers fitness might be tricky.
Knee was incredibly sore this week following the Grizzly so pretty much all rest with a local race on the Sunday.
No mojo but a great Grizzly race – w.e 1/3/15
Finished the week with a race I really enjoyed and felt went well at The Grizzly, beyond that not much else to report beyond continued injury issues.
I had grand plans of a big 70+ week here but the calf and knee niggles that have been troubling me put an end to that.

Tempos and ridiculously early starts w.e 8/2/15
As the first proper A-Race of the year looms on the 1st of March (The 20 mile Grizzly), I’m focused on quality and recovery as much as possible.
I think I’ve been in need of a rest for some time so the last couple of weeks have been just that.
Low and slow recovering w.e 28/09/2014
The week before Ladybower 35 my knee played up quite a bit and I was in a fair bit of pain which eased enough to race comfortably but was probably a sign of needing a bit of a rest.
