Back to it a bit – w.e 15/3/15

Finally the knee pain seems to be easing a little and for the first time in a while I actually met my modest 50mpw target without the aid of big long run.

Highlights of the week were probably the 11 miler around the trails at the top of my house at a reasonable 7:20 ish/mile pace for slippy mud single tracks and feeling comfortable and taking Felix to Oakwell Hall parkrun where he completed only his second “adult” parkrun (to add to his 10 junior parkruns) and had a blast!

A much nicer view on a Sunday run than roads! 

Hope I can build on it over the next couple of weeks but it’s nice to just get back to the trail again and not getting smashed on the tarmac is already feeling better.
