With Ladybower 35 (4th place – race report) on Sunday there wasn’t much to report this week besides some knee trouble that’s appeared from nowhere.
My right knee seems to be having some issues and despite a very easy week (much easier than I’d planned) with just a couple of short jogs to work at low effort level it hurt quite a bit.
To date, most of my niggles have been in my left leg so for my normally reliable and trouble-free right knee to flare up before the race wasn’t ideal. I’m hoping that because the symptoms are fairly similar to when I had to visit the physio recently that it’s just an overly tight sciatic muscle and stretching and rollering does appear to have eased it but I’m going to take it easy in the meantime.
