I’m writing the race report at the moment so will update this page but basically I spent this week jogging to work in advance of flying to Romania with Ally to do the Transylvania 50k.
I don’t bother tapering these days in terms of fully stopping running for days on end, just prefer to tick over some shorter runs at very easy effort level because it stops my mind going into overdrive and worrying about stuff.
No injuries or niggles to report for a change before a big event!
- Monday: 6 miles
- Tuesday: 4.7 miles
- Wednesday: 4.7 miles
- Thursday: 4.5 miles
- Friday: Rest
- Saturday: 34.6 miles (Transylvania 50k race)
- Sunday: Rest
