Week ending 26th Jan 2014

Thank god that’s done with. Another big week of pounding out base building  miles and now I’m planning on an easier week in the lead up to Dewsbury 10k.

I’m still not sure I’m going to bother with it to be honest, despite the miles, I’ve put on about 4 lbs and don’t feel like there’s much in the legs at the moment after 8 runs in 6 days to cover 65 miles. I was only planning on running Dewsbury because of it’s PB potential but £16 for a race I’m not sure I feel confident about isn’t right up there on my priority list right now.

Might just settle for a rest week and a crack at breaking sub 18 at Parkrun instead after coming so close the other week.

  • Monday – 13.7 miles (7.8 + 5.9)
  • Tuesday – 6.4 miles
  • Wednesday – 14.1 miles (8 + 6.1)
  • Thursday – 9 miles
  • Friday – 8 miles
  • Saturday – 14 miles
  • Sunday – Rest

Total: 65.2 miles 5261ft elevation.
