Between Ultras – Week ending 6th April 2014
Following last week’s unexpected success in the Oldham Way Ultra, I was planning on a week recovery but I’ve felt stronger than I’ve done in a while.
Skiing downhill is training right? – Week ending 23rd March 2014
No real chance of any running other than a glimpse of what running at 5500ft altitude and a sharp climb does to the lungs while on holiday.

The Grizzly wiped me out more than I’d ever considered it would do so it’s been a couple of jogs and that’s it really.

So this was the week I’d been building up to since November. The Grizzly Race was upon us.

I’d decided a while back that even though I might not have needed it exactly, I was going to have two easy weeks leading up to The Grizzly with one blast around Parkrun being the only significant effort in that time.

After feeling a bit fatigued last week I must say I felt a lot stronger this week and I’ve actually just run my biggest week mileage wise since I started running.

I finally made the jump this week and got round to officially joining Meltham AC and ground out some more miles.
A much needed easy week was supposed to lead up to a race on Sunday but that didn’t happen.
